ARC and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will hold a one-hour webinar on December 13 to examine the findings of the 2017 study Economic Analysis of Completing the Appalachian Development Highway System (ADHS). The study assesses the economic impacts of the 2,795 miles of the ADHS now open to traffic or under construction, and estimates the impacts, benefits, and costs associated with completing the system's remaining 295 miles. ARC and FHWA staff will review the study’s methods and key findings, and will discuss the role the ADHS plays in the Appalachian Region's economic development.
