Education–High School and College Completion Rates


Population Adults 25 Years +: The adult population, 25 years and over, used in the denominator when determining education completion rates.

Persons with HS Diploma or Higher: Number of adults, 25 years and over, completing 12 years or more of school.

Persons with College Degree or Higher: Number of adults, 25 years and over, completing 4 years of college or more.

Percent Completed High School: Percentage of adults, 25 years and over, completing 12 years or more of school.

Percent Completed College: Percentage of adults, 25 years and over, completing 4 years or more of college.

High School Completion, Percent of U.S. Average: This value is computed by dividing the percentage completing high school in a county, state, or region by the national average.

College Completion, Percent of U.S. Average: This value is computed by dividing the percentage completing college in a county, state, or region by the national average.
