The Appalachian Gathering for Recovery Solutions – second edition seeks to provide opportunities for in-person communication and networking by bringing representatives from all recovery programs and resources in Eastern Kentucky together for a free one-day gathering on March 9, 2023, at the Union College campus in Barbourville, Kentucky.

Tim Robinson, CEO of Addiction Recovery Care, Dr. Al J. Mooney, the author of The Recovery Book, and Geoff Wilson, the president of the Kentucky Association of Addiction Professionals, along with experienced practitioners from the Appalachia region will discuss the advances in substance abuse recovery.

The Gathering will use technology (Microsoft Teams) to reach a broader audience interested in all aspects of the recovery pipeline.

In order to address all the critical components of recovery, the Appalachian Gathering for Recovery Solutions will combine keynote speeches with panel sessions. Participants can choose and attend the panels which are of most interest to them.

ARC Staff In Attendance

ARC Health Program Manager Lauren Wood will be at the conference to discuss ARC’s Investments Supporting Partnerships in Recovery Ecosystems (INSPIRE) Initiative and the open funding opportunity.
