Eligible organizations interested in applying for an ARISE grant must first submit a pre-application, due no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, December 5, 2025, to ARISE@arc.gov. Pre-applications must adhere to the applicable pre-application template: planning; implementation–non-construction; or implementation–construction.

The pre-application must be submitted as one PDF file and be no more than 9 MB in size. Other attachments will not be accepted. Please include “ARISE Pre-Application Submission” and the applicant organization’s name in the subject line of your submission.

Planning Grants

Planning grants will fund multi-state partners to develop plans, strategies, and feasibility studies in support of future implementation efforts.

Implementation Grants

Implementation grants are for programmatic delivery of eligible activities in line with ARISE investment priorities. Funding is available for both construction and non-construction activities.
