On Friday, June 17, 2022 at 10am, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is hosting a webinar about its Affordable Connectivity Program, which aims to connect more underserved communities and families with affordable high-speed internet by offering eligible households a discount up to $30/month toward internet. ARC estimates that 35% of Appalachians are eligible for this benefit, but only 10% of Appalachian households are participating in the program.
