NIOSH Responds to the Opioid Overdose Crisis and an Update on Workplace Supported Recovery

A presentation to provide research findings on understanding the opioid crisis among U.S. workers, the impact of opioids and the workplace, the impact of Covid-19 on substance misuse, substance use and opioid use disorders; along with some preliminary data to characterize and address the opioid crisis, which includes cultivating a supportive workplace.

ETA believes that the information presented by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) offers real-time insight on the impact of the opioid crisis on our public workforce system and presents a great opportunity to enhance the One Workforce vision through sharing this timely and important information with the larger workforce community.  Join us!
