From February 2022 through September 2023, ARC hit the road to highlight our new strategic goals, and how Appalachia’s 13 states are working to achieve them, in a five-part virtual series entitled Appalachia Envisioned Roadshow. At each stop, we heard stories from Appalachian community members, economic development experts, and governors on their successes, challenges, and outlooks for the region.
On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, we highlighted ARC investments that are expanding and strengthening community systems (including education, healthcare, housing, and others) to help Appalachians obtain a job, stay on the job, and advance along a financially sustaining career pathway.

On Tuesday, May 3, 2022, we featured ARC investments that are strengthening Appalachia’s community and economic development potential by preserving and investing in the Region’s culture and natural assets.
On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, we focused on building Appalachian businesses and met entrepreneurs and business development professionals from Appalachian South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi.
On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, we featured ARC investments that ensure residents and businesses have access to reliable and affordable utilities and infrastructure to successfully live and work in the Region.
